Why would you want to access your Akashic Records?
To find answers to some questions you may have. Instead of asking a medium or tarot reader for guidance, you can ask your questions to your guides and receive the answers directly from them. But, you must know that you can only receive the information that you need to know. Any information that wouldn’t be necessary for you to know, will not be provided.

At first, you might not receive any answers, which can sometimes be an answer itself. Then, you might receive one word as an answer. And eventually, as you get better and better, you will start receiving complete answers.
How to know if you are communicating with your Akashic Records?
You might be wondering; how will you know if it’s not just your ego answering your questions? It might be, but there are ways to know. Before connecting to your Akashic Records, ask your question and answer it yourself. Write down that answer on a piece of paper. Then, when connected to the Akashic Records, ask the same question to your guides and wait for the answer. Write down the answer received on a piece of paper. Finally, compare both answers and notice the difference. An answer that comes from you and the ego, will often contain the word “I”, as opposed to an answer form the Akashic Records, which would be phrased with “we”.
